The Kremlin Wall
After passing through Resurrection Gate you can follow the Kremlin Wall on your right.
The Lenin Mausoleum was designed by Russian architect Aleksey Shchusev in 1930. It features a rooftop terrace from which leaders might view military parades. Visitors are not permitted to linger beside the crystal casket containing Lenin's embalmed body, prompting rumors that it is a wax replica, but the authorities insist that a special chemical formula developed by Soviet scientists has preserved him to this day.
The Savior's Tower is the Kremlin's largest tower and rises to a height of 70 m (230 feet). It was built in 1491 and was enlarged in 1625 with the addition of its first chiming clock. This is one of the high-security entrances into the Kremlin.
If you really want to take a walk, when you get to the corner, you can take a right and go all the way around. Each tower has its own name.
We have now come around to the other side and are at the peaceful Alexander Gardens.
The Trinity Tower
We then discovered the Okhotnyy Ryad Shopping Center and this colorful fountain in front. It also contains a food court with a McDonald's and a Sbarro Pizza. Imagine that!
