Here We Go Again!

Osprey, Florida

We are on our way to our favorite Asian country, Singapore, to visit Sarah and Jeremy and the four grandchildren, Allison, Madison, Parker and McKenna.  They have been in Singapore since 2012 and we have visited them once in 2013.

Of course the plane has to make a stop some place and ours has a layover in Moscow.  So, we said, "why not?" and we are going to be tourists in Moscow and St. Petersburg for a week.  It is very hard to pack for cold weather and hot weather, so we sent our summer clothes on to Singapore.  We have two travel books, titled "The Top Ten Things to Do In Moscow" and "The Top Ten Things to Do In St. Petersburg".  We won't have time for much else anyway.

We are going to miss this time of year in Florida.  We finally have been able to open our sliders and windows.  We would much rather listen to the birds, the breeze, and our waterfall.  Lately, we have been watching the American Eagles who perch in a tall pine tree just across the pond.  At first there were only two adults, but now we have spotted several "baby" eagles as well.  The babies are as large as the adults, but they still have all of their brown feathers.  After they have swooped down to catch a fish, they perch on a branch and eat their prey.  So you always need to have your binoculars close by so that you don't miss their acrobatics, squawking and pruning.  We will look forward to coming back and watching them again.
